You will want to check your vehicle's owner's manual for recommended tire pressure before airing up your tires. You can also often find tire pressure recommendations listed on the side of your car driver's door jam.

Although the recommended miles for tire rotation varies from 3,000-7,000 miles. What works for you and your family should be fine, as long as you rotate your tires regularly. Some tire shops offer free rotations, so take them up on it, it will only cost you time.

What is an alignment? Your car's suspension is connected to the wheels, which is adjustable to ensure your tires are wearing and making solid contact with the pavement. Keep an eye and an ear out for vibrations or your steering wheel off of center when driving straight, these are indications that your alignment may be off.

How do we know when it is time to replace the tires? Check your tread depth with a penny. If you can see all of Lincoln's head, then it is time for a new set of tires. You can also measure the tread depth when it reaches 1/16 inch; you are due. There are other indications for needing a set of tires such as poor handling, vibrations, poor fuel economy, or slower response time when stepping on the brake pedal, or if your tires are losing air.
