If you are reading this review then you are looking for a local garage that specializes in exotic cars. You know what I mean: Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche, Lotus, Aston Martin. etc. then Foreign Autohaus is the place to take your car. I recently took my 2013 Ferrari California to them for its yearly service. Been a year since the oil and filter were changed. I had purchased the car last year in September and it was time for service. Don't drive it much but I love taking it out on a sunny weekend. Johnny reviewed the cars history and made me aware that my 2013 Ferrari California had never had the spark plugs and coils changed. Ferrari recommends they be changed every 4 years. Also that I should have the air filters and Pollen filter replaced. Johnny the manager at Foreign Autohaus prepared a very detailed estimate for the work. He explained very clearly what had to be done and when he could schedule the work. He told me that the following week would be open for my car. I agreed and signed the estimate. The day I dropped off the car, the battery died right in front of the garage. The mechanic could not restart the car to move it into the repair bay. Dead battery. Boy was I lucky. Johnny said he would immediately have the battery and its systems checked and get back to me. In a few hours I got the verdict. Bad battery. Reason, it was old. Time for replacement. I had no records of the battery ever being replaced. The work was completed as scheduled and on time. I looked over the old parts and saw for myself that the 8- spark plugs, coils and air filters all needed to be replaced. The Ferrari now runs perfectly. No misfires or hard to start. He also installed a new high demand battery. The mechanics took very good care of my car. Covering the seats, floor mats and each fender with soft drop cloths. Johnny and his team at Foreign Autohaus in Folsom is my "Go To" garage for service or repairs to my Ferrari.
